Wellness Presentations

The Wellness Presentation (WP) is by far the most effective way to:

  • acquire customers

  • build an existing customer's (and distributor's!) belief

  • attract distributors to your team

  • train distributors

  • show a bigger picture than you and the CDs/DVDs, etc.

All successful teams in the world of Juice Plus+ are using 'WPs' to great effect. Listen to Julie Herbst who has a really bigger picture view of this great tool.

 

How to Build a Successful Wellness Presentation

 

The formula for WP success is clearly described in the Virtual Franchise Owner's Manual Chapter 7 and on the Wellness Presentations Training Call.

 

One key is to keep the approach simple, fun and duplicatable. Aim for 45 minutes, so there's plenty of time for discussion and to get attendees signed up. Get as many as possible of the guests to interact and contribute; when they are involved they will be more receptive to the message.

 

Invitations

 

The invitation process (including "Call-Send-Call" described in the Owner's Manual) is the only way to go, and it's crucial. Listen to this excellent message by Dana Wright (SSC) on Inviting.

Prime-Time Health WP

A new option for a very effective WP is to use the superb new DVD Prime-Time Health (featuring Dr. Bill Sears discussing the latest in breakthrough medical discoveries that won the Nobel Prize just a short time ago, with the most amazing graphics, and of course recommending Juice Plus+) and a new simplified approach!

Simply invite people (call-send-call) sending this Prime-Time Health WP Invitation:

1. Welcome and share your Story (now or later at step 5)

2. Handout the DVD Notes Sheet for your guests to use while watching the DVD

3. Pop-in the Prime-Time Health DVD (sit back and watch it with your guests)

4. Review the DVD Answers Sheet with them

5. Handout the Health Commitments Sheet for them to fill out

6. Discuss their goals and their why (the “so that” statement at the bottom)

You could even do a lunch & learn at an office with these!

The audience for this WP (and the DVD) is, of course, 'baby boomers' (born between 1946 and 1964) and older; but also anyone who is wise enough to look ahead and plan their retirement.

This is the simplest WP you can imagine - no presentation book, no script. Dr. Sears does the "heavy lifting" and we just ask people to fill in 3 sheets and discuss their goals.

Other Good Ideas for WPs

 

At the beginning of a WP we often ask attendees, as they arrive, to complete a Wellness Survey. The Owner's Manual has a good one on page 7.8.

 

"Shock Value" is not always effective, but Worst Food Choices offers some amazing pictures and facts that you may find useful at a WP. Mountain Dew and Sunkist Orange Soda are great visuals to use showing the amount of sugar in popular sodas. Tape together the number of sugar packets that equal the sugar in those two drinks, and having them rolled up to start with, flip the string of packets out in front of the group to illustrate the shocking amount of sugar that's in the drink.

 

You can use this Easy Order Form to take orders and enter later at your Virtual Office.

 

The Healthy Happy Kids Campaign is a great variation of the Wellness Presentation geared towards families and kids. You will find all the materials for HHKC at your Virtual Office (under Training ... Presentations). This School Wellness Policy brochure would be a great handout for WPs about children's health.

 

Always send your guests away with something: a CD, DVD, another brochure. If they haven't already been to your website, then a brochure with this website guide inserted inside would be great (add your own info. and cut the sheet into three).

How to Close a WP (one example)

For those of you who have a child between the ages of 4-18 (full time college students), we would be more than happy to (help) pay for the fruits and vegetables for your child.  We have them in new Soft Chewies and we also have them in capsules.  So make sure you that you put their name and their DOB right on the form and we will (help) pay for your children for one full year.  My husband and I sponsor over 50 children every single month.  That’s how much we believe in this program.  The Juice Plus+ Children's Health Study has been a very, very important part of the health of our family." 

(You can also use that same verbiage with the Fitness Effect offering 2 full months of bottles of Vineyard or 2 cans of  Complete after the 1st 90 days for being that good customer and trying to make these small incremental health changes.  You’re offering them 2 free months.)

Then I schedule two wellness presentations for two people that are smiling and I know they wished they would have had a brother, sister, mother, uncle…. in the room and I get my calendar out.
