Food for Thought: Nutritional Health on Campus
Many people have suspected that it is almost impossible to have good
nutritional health at college. All you can eat fast food dining
facilities, late night food binges, caffeine cravings, its no wonder
some skeptics claim the theories of the Freshman 15 and the Sophomore
20.
However, gaining weight is not the only thing that can come as a result
of poor eating choices. Studies have shown that diet and nutritional
health can greatly impact a student's energy levels, focus and
concentration and overall cognitive abilities. According to the National
Food Service Management Institute at the University of Mississippi,
there are 3 major factors linked to cognitive development: nutrition,
genes, and environment.

Since the JP+ Health Study was expanded to include full-time college
students, we have a solution to this problem; college students can now
improve their nutritional health and thereby their academic (and if
appropriate their athletic performance) with Juice Plus+ - for free!
Do you have college students in your family? Do close friends of yours
have them in theirs? Have you approached them with this good news?
Working with Karissa Soeter (19 year old full-time college student and JP+ Rep. from Norco, CA), we've developed
an aid to getting this exciting message to the student and/or their parents. It's at
www.wellnessplus.net/college.
There are several ways you can use this, including:
1. introduce it to students you know and have them:
- send the website link to their parents, or
- personalize the "letter" and send or email it to their parents
with a link to the website.
2. approach a parent or grandparent of a college student
and ask them to read the "letter", explore the website and decide if
this is something they would like to do.
3. approach an entrepreneurial student (one who would
like to make $500+ a month) with this as a business model for building
a customer base and a team of students at their college and other
colleges. This is a very 'duplicatable' approach.
Please note that the link in this site is to 'dalyjuiceplus.com'.
The website needs a link to juiceplus.com but rather than linking to the
corporate site we have this under our control, so that, in the unlikely
event that one of your prospects orders Juice Plus+ online at our
website, we will simply move the customer to you, once the error is
discovered. This is most unlikely to happen, since they cannot sign up
in the Health Study online - you have to do this for them. However, if
they should order JP+ online, you can still move them into the Study up
to 30 days after they entered their order.
