Personal Growth
Personal Growth is the natural, automatic result of
working this business consistently towards your goals.
Personal Growth comes from 'learning by doing', not (just) from
academic learning. So the reading/learning that helps is only the
kind that drives you to action and that teaches what you can put
into action.
Are you Growing?
You are either growing or 'shrinking'. We recommend growing, especially emotionally.
Robert Kiyosaki (author of "Rich Dad,
Poor Dad" and many other great books) says: "the educational system inherent in a good
(home-based business) is so important. It's the emotional education or emotional intelligence aspect of
these programs that I find so valuable for people."
Personal growth develops many
skills, but in our business it inevitably, over time, develops leadership.
Ron Blue
says of great leaders, that they have "WHY Power, WANT Power, WILL Power, WORD Power". They know what
drives them, they have burning desire, they persist in doing what it takes, and they tell their story
well.
The first step in growth is often Dreaming - try it you'll like it!
Be sure to listen to the Training Calls
and attend the Webinars.
Life Planning
“He who fails to plan, plans to fail”. Your Life is a
reflection of your planning and your maturity, which results from
personal growth (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual).
Life Planning is a process
that underpins this growth - it's key. Know your
Personality
Self-awareness is key to Personal Growth (and to a
successful life!) Take a look at this
Personality Chart: check
each box that you think applies to you and see what personality
type (or combination - most of us have a primary and a secondary
type) describes you. Now ask yourself "what does this say about
my job, about my business and about my life and how work and
live?"
You can take a
Personality I.D. Assessment. This will help you learn your
strengths and weaknesses and your communication style for
application at home, church, and work.
Be sure to print the assessment results. Once you've completed this, be sure to discuss it
with someone else, such as your sponsor, spouse, or a friend.
