I used to be
a big fan of vitamins and took a mega-multi that had all the right
"mgs of this" and "IUs of that". After beginning to study nutrition
during one of my first courses for my doctorate in Naturopathy, I
began to understand the value of supplementation with whole foods.
That, along with listening to the Juice Plus CDs and DVDs convinced
me of the power of whole food synergy, and I've never looked back.
The energy of the food (that it gets from the sun) can only survive
as long as the food is whole, and it's that energy that we need more
than anything else. The Juice Plus process maintains the
integrity/energy of the food, and that is why it is "the next best
thing to eating fruits and vegetables"!
Business
At the
beginning, I was not very interested in pursuing the Juice Plus+
business, as I was very wary of non-traditional businesses. But
then my friend convinced me to attend a presentation where I saw a
23 yr ex-IBMer (Mick) give a brilliant presentation on residual
income and our ability to touch the lives of thousands of people in
a positive and meaningful way with Juice Plus+. Being a 20+ yr
IBMer myself (IBM is kind of like a fraternity), I could completely
relate with his story about the Corporate world relative to
retirement and job security. I began my Juice Plus+ business in
2004, with the intention of paying for my family's Juice Plus+. My
income has far exceeded that, and one day this will be my primary
(retirement) income. |
